MyPowerPlant is for all of us who set intentions of whole-ISH living. Let’s FACE it, we want our best “face” forward by being as clean,healthy and whole as possible daily. Then…life actually happens. We are hit with a long day’s work, kids/family, tasks, errands, and being WHOLE just fell a-PART. We may not always complete our every intention for the day, but YOUR own POWERPLANT keeps you moving, uncompromisingly, in the right direction when we allow. Your PowerPlant can be thought of as your powerhouse, your factory of perfect design. Through the right thinking, believing and being comes your best self.
As a physician, I was exhausted with traditional practice, an almost cattle prodding system that did not allow time enough to truly help a patient. I had always thought “alternatively”, but was not allowed to practice this way with so many systematic constraints.
My PowerPlant was a dream of mine for many years (and will be extending beyond skincare and into all avenues of living!). As a user of Colostrum for years, I began with Colostrum based skincare in my own kitchen, extensively researching and formulating clean, unprocessed and botanic based ways to help us all take care of our body’s largest and often neglected organ- our SKIN. My patients would always ask about my skincare regimen, and I did not have a good answer, other than my own homemade cleanser and water.
Creating this company was not a money making gimmick or a hop on the bandwagon.
Natural skin care and colostrum was my passion before there was a bandwagon to hop on.
We strive with every ingredient to give highest quality for the greatest value. I was tired of seeing “natural” on a label, only to read the ingredients and find artificial this and that, chemicals and preservatives that are potentially harming our skin.
**What is colostrum? Colostrum, mother nature’s liquid gold, is given to newborn mammals at birth, rich with protective antibodies that are traffic controllers for our immune system, and therefore the inflammatory response of our body and SKIN.
As I have matured and found my skin to mature along with me, it has become more important to focus on this organ and give it the attention the rest of my self deserves.
Since shifting to a wholistic practice, I have been able to “stop and smell the roses” a little more appreciatively, truly giving quality love to myself, including my skin, which we know pays itself forward to others.
